• Drive through the Hutt Valley region on the way to the Wairarapa. 

• Visit the Lord of the Rings filming site at Kaitoke Regional Park and walk across  the swing bridge

• Stop at the Rimutaka Lookout.

• Travel along the rugged south coast of the Wairarapa to one of the largest seal colonies in  New Zealand.

• Pass through the small fishing village of Nghwai on the way to the Castlepoint lighthouse.

• Climb the steps to the lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views of the south coast right through to the South Island

• Wine tasting at three vineyards in Martinborough.

• Lunch and wine at Vineyard.

• Coffee and tea stop at Grand old Hotel.​

Departure

Tours depart from the Wellington i-Site on Wakefield Street, or we will pick you up from your Hotel, Cruise Ship or in the Central City or a prearranged site within the Wellington region
