What to See & Do -  2 days

Day 1

• Mount Victoria Lookout - panoramic views of Wellington City

• Drive through the Hutt Valley region on the way to the Waiarapa 

• Visit the Lord of the Rings filming site at Kaitoke Regional Park and walk across  the swing bridge

• Stop and check out the great views over the Te Marua Lakes

• Stop at the Rimatuka Lookout.

• Lunch at cafe

• Drive around the rugged South Coast to the small fishing village of Ngawi

• See the seal colony at Cape Palliser - one of the largest in New Zealand

• Walk up to the Cape Palliser Lighthouse with stunining views through to the South Island

• Wine tasting at 4 martinborough vineyards

• Stay overnight at local hotel / lodge

• Dine at hotel (costs not included)

• Walk through the iconic historic township of Greytown where the main street is lined with Victorian colonial architecture. The town also has a  number of boutique and quirky local stores such as art and craft shops . 

• Coffee and tea stop at Grand old Hotel

• Gift and souvenirs shop stop - Paua World Carterton

Tours depart from the Wellington i-Site in Wakefield Street or we will pick you up from your Hotel, Cruise Ship or in the Central City.
